We were surprised at the homey atmosphere and the Thanksgiving feel of the buffet. Delicious food!

Veggie lovers dream , they have a great variety of meat also. This is an all you care to eat style restaurant. The staff are friendly the food is good and there is plenty of it if you haven't eaten there you are missing out. Large or small groups are no problem.

Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Food was surprisingly really good for being a buffet. However, I would not recommend the cornbread muffins without a large drink.

This has to be a place lost in time. The only place I have ever felt like I just walked back into my nanny"s house. The great smelling food, the laughter Of happy people and more food than you could imagine. I can not wait to visit again. Just like going home.

Delicious home cooking buffet. Food was fresh, hot and flavorful. The only thing I did not like were the pies. They all tasted like pure sugar.

Fried Chicken, BBQ ribs, fried pork chops, all the sides any country buffet needs and several homemade salads! Delicious food and great atmosphere! Beautifully decorated also! Would definitely recommend this buffet!

They always have great food and service. I got the to go pork chop and gravy and it was well worth the drive from Greenville.

LOVE THIS PLACE. THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN PORK CHOPS MEAT LOAF AND ALL THE SIDES. OH I DIDNT MENTION ALL THE AWESOME DESSERTS. Really great service and very clean.

In the Bible it said God prepared a place for us. This place has to be it! If you love southern style food or country cooking this is the restaurant of your dreams. The variety is unmatched and the taste is memorable. A buffet of food like mama and granny makes it. The staff was super friendly and the dishes are the cleanest I’ve seen at a buffet. I’m really picky about restaurant cups, plates, and silverware, and they gained my trust instantly. Completely better tasting food than, and way cleaner than Golden Coral. I’ll never forget this place. I’m hoping this place or something close to it will be open in Louisville one day. I will be back! Oh, make sure you try the Grandma cake if you’ve never had it. You’re welcome.

This restaurant has been around for quite a while. There is good reason for that. If you have ever eaten here you know why. If you have not eaten here you really should give this place a try. Very good southern style country food at an honest, easy on the wallet price. This is a buffet, so come hungry and stuff yourself but leave room for the dessert. Numerous pies and cakes to choose from and oh yeah there is icecream too. The service is fast and friendly and the drinks keep flowing. Be sure to ask the lady about discounts when you check out. Need a place for a large group or just dinning alone. You won't go wrong here.

Overpriced hospital food. Great for old people that don't like seasoning. All you can eat buffet & pie bar.

The atmosphere is just like walking into your kitchen, dining room.The service was exceptionally and the food is out of this world delicious. I am from central kentucky but i will be making special trips to eat here.

Yum Yum. They had a wide selection of good home cooking from fried chicken and chicken and dumplings with homemade peach cobbler for dessert. With a buffet like they have you will sure find something that will be to your liking.

Such a great place to stop for a quick warm and tasty (did i mention very cheap, too?!) lunch, on our way from Nashville to Illinois. You can even DRIVE THRU! Big variety of salads, meats, side dishes and desserts. Friendly, quick service - for a drink, napkins, etc. There’s a baby changing table in the ladies.

I've never had a bad meal there. Getting to be a tad pricey but still worth the money and the trip.

Don't know how long I've been coming here. It's 's the BEST country buffet you'll find. It's like you hit Grandma Kitchens lottery. Highly recommend!

If you are hungry for delicious food, and anywhere near Madisonville, this is where you want to stop to eat.The food is absolutely delicious and the staff so very friendly and helpful. Prices were just right.Highly recommend. We were here 4 years ago and loved it. We’ll be back again, for sure, when back in this part of Kentucky.

The best down home cooking you will ever eat and it's all you can eat buffet. No cheap food fillers like the chain stores, this is just really good food.

I purchased a food gift basket for my grandparents 58th anniversary. The man fixed it up so Beautifully in a decor box, wrap,and incredible handmade ribbons. I couldn't believe my eyes!!! The food is Always great as well.

If you want food that compares to the food off of mama's table this is the place great service and good prices and a great atmosphere to go with it

The food was delicious as always. There was a group of us. Some wasn't please with our host. The dessert were scrumptious. It was crowded as usual on a Sunday. A variety of everything you want or get at any Sunday meal in Kentucky.

Food was pretty good except for the second time we tried to get something else it wasn't as fresh and hot like first plate.

The food is simple comfort food. It is usually hot and fresh off the bar.

I have meetings twice a month at the Country Cupboard. I see regular patrons that are friends on most visits. I have never had a bad meal there.

First thing I need to comment on, is the service. Walking in the door, we had a reserved section ready for our party. Drink options were taken immediately by Ethan and at the table by the time I fixed my first plate! Food was great, I actually expected a lesser standard, but when I finished the first plate, i took a breath and went for seconds!If you're in the area, stop by here, you won't be upset.

They are price gouging. I just left there. Last Friday I ordered (6) catfish filays & 2 single servings of coleslaw - $11. I go today (5) fish filays and the coleslaw $14. The thing is the new manager waited on me both times. If you you a senior citizen as I am, watch what he is charging you

Highly disappointed, has definitely gone down hill. Food was bland, they ran out of multiple things, and it was way overpriced. Nearly $40 for 2 people

The staff and dessert were great, but the buffet itself was just okay. I know with food prices it cost a lot now days to have an all you can eat buffet, but, for what you get it's not worth the price. All the veggies, except for the stewed tomatoes tasted like they were from a can. Also, the fried chicken is generic to any other country restaurant. I think most of these places just get their food from sysco and fry it or heat it up.
